You can post and comment everywhere. You just cannot start threads for a while. There are only two advices for you:

1) Read the rules and read around. Anything you want to ask has been handled at some point.
2) Contribute first with your own stories and reviews and then ask for info.

Uncalled for for many reasons. First, a woman in her early 40's is in her prime. A lady comfortable in her skin who has experienced many things. Never underestimate the sexual prowess of a mature lady.
Second, you are a self admitted abstainer from the hobby. So your analysis matters less. There are many ladies in their "prime" who entertain men to a greater fulfillment than 20 something hard bodies who deliver less than expected.
Third, be nice! No reason to be condescending towards someone who's reaching out for assistance.
