I have been to Vic's and didn't have a problem. Never been to Tap, but I don't know if Vic's is exactly the same. Had to take the girl out. Wonder if anyone else has had success with top mileage staying at the bar. Thought I saw someone getting a HJ at the end of the bar. What is the secret?

For the many of us that used to go there on a regular basis - we are still in mourning ( besides a case of blue balls )

Jimmy has now set up shop in Linden.

Closest thing to the tap is still vic's - but would suggest only going during the early afternoon. But as in any one of these types of bars, as long as you are cool, you will be safe.

Great place but go early afternoon. FEEL/LD/HJ $1/5/10 at the bar. and all are willing so wait till the girl you want comes upto you. Most are dogs but there are some really nice. They will also go out with you, $30 Bj in car , $50 and up FS in a motel.
Any other GO GO bars this good in Nothern NJ.

Can't rember the extact name - something like the east side cafe.

Its in Linden-
1&9 south till the White Castle- Should be Park Ave.
Right-
At second light take a left ( over the highway and the strip club is on the corner ) Take a left.

Down about a mile on the left hand side. East side something. The Brazilian girl tina is at the bar. Not much action yet.

Mostly a gin mill at this time. I don't know if you know jimmy ( bartender), but one of the thing that made the tap great is that he was always more of a perv then any of us ( or at least me, anyway)

Stagger - the place you're talking about is Cheetah's. It's a typical Jersey Go-Go Bar. No LD room. You're not going to get the kind of action there that you would have at Town Tap.

If you're in that area, you might as well make the right at the 2nd light instead of a left and go to VIP's. For under $$, you can get Towne Tap action and then some with much hotter girls.

Is that where VIP is? I haven't been there yet and always wanted to go. I always went to the tap because it was usally during the day, and the fact that 25 dollars at the tap went a long way. Specially if someone like Juicy Lucy was there.

No problem Stagger. Yes, that's where VIP is but you won't get far with $25. However, if you put an extra 0 on the end of it and you'll have a GREAT time. If memory serves me correctly (and I doubt it in my aging years) - UG'ers recommended and I concur that about seeing Nicky, Kris, Kitty or Dawn for LDs upstairs.

I just want to get things straight - Vic's is the place to go for cheap bar action (a la Towne Tap), correct? And VIP is the place to go for action, but it is expensive? $250 worth of action, Shorty? For that cost, I could go to an Oriental joint for FS...twice! Please let me know the skinny on VIP...I am getting mixed signals from the posts. I frequented TT during the no-holds barred period (it was surreal ass-banging that blonde chick near the wall while everyone at bar is drinking and could care less!). Bottom line: I am just looking for a Jersey/Philly lapdance joint for similar fun without spending a mint.

Girls will ensure a good time for, say, 3-4 dances. Throw in admission and mandatory drink (God forbid you try to evade the $5 water/soda!) you can be in and out for about $100.

I would say your post in right on the money. I used to go to the tap because my funds would go a long way. Over the years I got to know everyone, and it got to the point were I wasn't considering anyplace else because all my friends were at the tap.

For laps I go to Vic's and to see my friends from the tap, I go to Jimmy's new place which is just a gin mill ( plus ) for now.

I have been a visitor to TT's as well.

Since its close I have gone to Vics [two girls outside the tavern, using the motel not far away on Rt 22] and the Champange Room, also in Irvington.

Heartbreakers, in Bloomfield, is better then either.

Care to tell me what a "gin mill plus" is? I mean, my mind conjurs all sorts of possible pictures but I can't be sure which is most accurate.

Jimmy is slowly getting his new place back up to his perv standards that he set at the tap in irvington. He just opened up and this place is a million times nicer. He tried for a entertainment licsence (sp), but the town of Linden is not quite ready to do that yet based on his reputation. May be about 6 months out. But there is nothing wrong if alot of his old friends (patron like me ) and his younger friends ( dancers ) come to together a have a drink and reacquaint themselves with one another.

Jimmy and The East Side Grill.

He opened this place, but he's trying to keep it clean. Tina , who I know and her roomate, who used to my my GF for awhile until recently were working the bar abnd got drunk and started to get half naked a few times until Jimmy told them to behave. Tina gets wasted on tequilla, and will probably show a little , but no funny stuff, shes getting to old for that and Betania will never do anything except dance and take tips.

Dollhouse is located on Lyon's Ave in Irvington. I think the cross street is Coit. It's across the street from the Hess gas station.

It's been a while since I went the TT and saw Jimmy. I'm sorry to hear its closed. Although, the boys in back "watching" the cars spooked me (pardon the pun) so I stopped going.

But I spent many a fun afternoon and introduced alot of friends to the fun.

I'm glad I found this board, I'll have to go see Jimmy in his new place.

I worked around the corner from the Dollhouse for years and I was warned in no uncertain terms (By a customer of the place) not to show my white ass in there unless I wanted a major beating. White guys are apparently assumed to be cops in there or else the clientele just doesn't like whites. Never bothered to find out for myself.

I'm sure we must have seen each other in the TT. I too wore a suit and felt fine while inside.....I grew up in E Orange so that stuff didn't bother me so much, but I have my limits.

One of the regular black guys who I got to know wanted to take me to another place. It was late, like 10pm, and I asked him about being white...he laughed and said the chicks would dig it, but I was on my own if trouble started. I passed.

Maybe I'll see you at Jimmy's new place, I'm definitely going to look him up.

Have tried to lock the going out of biz party in memory for some time now. It was a two day affair that was about 50 /50 ratio of guys to girls. Just about recovered nine months later. ABC is watching Jimmy like a hawk these days. They tried to bust him 3 weeks ago with a surprise raid, but found nothing. Betania is very cute, I've know her since she came here. (Aug 2000) I don't really have a problem with her, its just that I think she started hanging around the wrong people, who give her C$ke, and she'll get into trouble. I walked away. Its just that if she calls sometime down the road I'd be tempted again, and I don't want that temptation. At least she canceled the cell phone I got her,on her own, and paid what she owed. She is VERY CUTE, only thing is she worries about home too much, and gets f'ed up because she is homesick and misses her son. I hope she gets the sense to pick up and go home, its almost impossible for her to stay now since she overstayed way too long.

I used to hang out in the Tap. The Spring after 9-11 I moved to New England. From time to time I make it back to NJ. The Tap set the standard for all bars to meet. I need to know what else is out there. Vic's is great...in fact a number of ex=tap dancers work there. Also, there are places in Paterson where a good time can be had. I want to hear about the hidden ****** that are out there in Irvington ..... Paterson....Newark......etc. For guys that like it a little on the sleazy side ...what's out there?

I will tell you about Providence, CT and New England in general for a scoop!

Tomato.....Vic's is the new Towne Tap. It is not as good as the
Tap for a number of reasons...but it is good enough. Some of the other ghetto bars in Irvington offer the same thing just no were near as much out in the open. Too bad I had to learn this as I was moving away. I will tell you that I've had great fun at Moonlight and at Guy's. I've had russians at guys want to meet later...and I've taken Brazilians and Dominicans home with me. Paterson clubs have a more friendly...homey...feel to them were clubs in Irvington have a harder edge to them. You may not be able to get to get a HJ or play with bush in Paterson ....but I will give it the best try I can when I come down.

Tomato.... you may wish to try something. If you are on the road a lot you may wish to check out Bridgeport. They have some interesting clubs there. In some you can have a ball for .6$. But Bridgeport is as bad as Irvington ever was.

Jam Master....If you know Bridgeport than you know about the Keystone and Teddies. These are two clubs were you can pretty much do anything in the lapdance area. You also have Pleasant Moments which is good. The closes thing you are going to have to Vic's or the Towne Tap would be Bishop's Corner. This bar has one or two good looking dancers and than a bunch of skanks. It has a down home kind of corner bar feel to it....like Cheers with tits. You will have a good time... and if you don't ....the Keystone is only a block away. The Keystone has much better looking dancers.....which doesn't say much...and it has more of a club feel to it. As far as I know you cannot get Bridgeport action in anyplace other than B'port. There are other small bars around were action can be had.

New England...is very different than New York or New Jersey. In Rhodes Island the only place for strip clubs is Providence....and the scene is not good. All of the clubs are like the high end clubs. They can be huge money pitts and they are highly controled and monitored. Extras can be had but it is prohibitively difficult and expensive. There are only a hand full of clubs.....and any of them allowed any Towne Tap action they would be shut down inside of an hour. Boston and Massachussetts is worse. There is absolutely no contact in Mass. and this is strictly enforced. The only place were you can get good action is in Springfield. This is the low rent section of Mass.....and action is done outside of he club.

The one thing that R. I has is two AMPs which are full service. We have several but only 2 are full service. New England is the most uptight boring place on the face of the planet. If God ever gives the world and enima the hose goes in here. There is plenty of action to be had in NY and NJ. Bridgeport is good.....but love where you are living...it could be worse. I hate the day I got transfered here.

The AMPs in Providence that will provide FS will cost on average about 6 to 9 Jacksons. The girls will almost always look like they walked out of a magazine. I have never been attracted to asian women ...but they smoke...and will take care of you. The same could be had in CT for a few buck cheaper.....and in my Jersey days I would bag girls from the moonlight and a few too many cocktails. The AMPs that do not provide FS can be OK if you only a massage and a HR. Like I said New England sucks balls.

Good posting, plat122...thank you. I agree that New England does suck for the most part, when it comes to hobbying, but in CT there seem to be more AMP's than just about anywhere else. And, FS is usually a given, not a hoped-for extra like in some other states. 8 Jacksons always gets that done. I'm a Bpt native, so the problem I face with Keystone, Teddies, R Place etc., is running into someone I don't want to see there. So, I like to travel a bit to hobby in peace. In fact, a good incall always requires a short trip to NY or NJ anyways...

Jame Master Jay....when I first moved into the NYC area, about 6 years ago, there were a lot of houses all over the city. In Jamaica Queens there a house near the LIRR station that was staffed with mostly Dominican and Cuban women. The cost was $25 and what ever you tip the girl. There were several I knew in Jamaica and I had heard of places in the bronx and the City. My understanding is that most were shut down or went deep undergroung during the Gulliani crack down. He did a great job improving the quality of life. My question is...are there anyplaces like this? I'm sure there has to be.

Jimmy had a xmas party about 2 weeks ago. some of the old dancers showed up.Juicy Lucy,Amber,Gladys and a few others.
Summer was also there, she is now the barmaid during the day.She was the hottest dancer I ever saw at the old tap.

Missed the party. Would to have loved to see juicy lucy for some quality time, but couldn't make it. Probably saved myself alot of money as I would have spent all night with Amber / Lucy or both.

Would not suggest hitting on Summer - think she is spending her quality time with Jimmy.

Well, I got back with the Bebe for awhile, and now we're on a occasional basis. She stopped dancing and is working as a bartender at a NNJ go-go bar she used to work at. She works during the day. Her and Tina haven't been roommates for a long time now, but she did mention to me that Tina got married again, hence the ability and funds to open a restaurant. I'm not sure if bebe knows, but I'll ask her. She called me last night and wanted me to go visit during her work hours today, but I never got over there, I can still drop in before shes done. Any chance Tina opened a place in "the bound" ? I'll try and find out the info.

Does anyone know what happened to BJ Mary. They also called block head. A large breaste blonde who would do almost anything in the bar. She was a lot of fun.

Best Bet would be to ask Jimmy. Knew her well - once the booze kicked in, which wasn't too long at the tap.

Hope you are well. Yea I knew that she is married - guess it was a spur of the moment thing in vegas. This guy is going to bankroll Tina - so she figured what the hell. I guess he really loves her - for the moment anyway. I know that he didn't like her Bartending for Jimmy thats for sure.

My limited rrecall is that Tina's place is not in the bound. I got the impression that it may be close to east side cafe, but I could easily be wrong. Would love to stop in a pay her a visit.

A friend of mine stopped by Jimmys place in Linden this week . It was closed.Sign on the door said under new ownership.He went over to Uncle Charlies to cry in some $2 miller lites.

does anyone know how to contact jimmy or danny? i grew up a block away from the tap & live in va now. danny got me into dancing when i'd visit my family here. i haven't seen them in 4 yrs. i was also sad to here of the bars closing. good money but also i've known many there since i was a kid. they were like family, with a twist! i'm up here for the next week if anyone knows where they are & also of another bar that takes part time help. i knew vic but i don't know the new guy who owns it. any leads would be helpful. xo

i did go by vic's today but i didn't have the $25.00 upfront fee. i was dancing at a place in norfolk but got to be too much drama with guns & all. they had security but i felt more protected at the tap than i did at this place! i have to check out a place in hampton when i get back, it's near the AF base. i was told by a friend to check a few places on route 35. i'm just not wanting to mooch of my family while i'm here & need to earn my own keep. i don't mind traveling to other towns in jersey if you know of other places. thanks. i have my own car.

seems like we've said something to make the guy in charge upset. all i'm trying to do is find old friends & find a place to work. by no means am i soliciting. if you read previous posts or other posts i believe the line has been jumped by other people. for all that knew me at the tap room, i was not one to go into the bathrooms or in the parking lot. everyone made their money the way they felt they had to.

I've never heard of Corina and Mary being describe as "the gruesome twosome with wrists of fury" but I'll tell you that it is very very acurate. Mary was known by guys who didn't like her as Blockhead. For those that loved her she was "Blowjob Mary" Both Corina and Mary were great dancer providing a lot of fun at the bar. I don't know of Jimmy starting up in Newark. I do know that Linden watched him like a hawk. If I learn anything I will post.

Forget about getting "Part time" anyway in Irvington, they got raided a couple of weeks ago and the mongers and dancers are very sparce in that town.
Where in VA do you dance, I do go to Richmond once in a while.

Max, I don't know if you've ever been to the old (original) town tap when it was 18 ave in Irvington but "Dopus Maximus" set the gold standard for low rent strip clubs. When Vic's was at its best it didn't get close to the old tap room. With out a doubt it the Tap set the standard for all low rent strip clubs. My first day there was a slow day in the early afternoon .... and I got my world rocked. I was turned out like a cheap trick. Until they shut the place down there was not other club to go to during the day; and no club at night could measure up to the standard. So they can ban him all they want. I just want to know where and when "Dopus Maximus" opens his next place. If you go....I'm pretty sure you will not be disappointed!

never had the pleasure of attending your room; but it is the stuff legends are made of. TT seems to be the yardstick by which all high mileage clubs are measured. i wish you the best of luck and only ask that i be notified of your next club opening so that i may be amongst it's pioneering patrons.

Stopped in early this week and caught wind of a conversation between Big T and the former Linden owner about JD's departure. Seems like managments story is JD was bringing in lots of business but there was nothing to show for profit at the end of the day. Liquor count was off, way off to the tune of hundreds of dollars each day. Apparently the big guy was willing to overlook this but when he saw lots of business, and lots of risk, and no significant increase in profits something had to be done. Shot O' Matic installed which pissed off JD and the recipients of his generosity. This brought the profit levels up but then JD's X who had an ax to grind began calling local 5-0 and complaining. After dropping a dime, contact was made with Big T and it was discovered that JD does not have a valid Bar Card and can not work in a liquor licensed establishment. That risk coupled with the marginal profit due to Comping and lifting was apparently the reason for the falling out, at least that is the management perspective. Luckily when the agencies came JD was not behind the bar. Talk about a close call, but that was the last straw for T.

Anyway, there was NO activity at the bar (although drink prices have been decreased) but there is no reason to go anymore unless you want to drink and look at Big T and some old raggedy dancer that does not perform.
