Episode...can it be?

I've been away from NYC since '76, and have great memories of Plato's Retreat and Taj Mahal. But when $$ was tighter I also remember an MP called Episode upstairs on W45th St. Can this possibly be the same operation. In those days it was pretty funky, but seerved it's purpose.

Yes, Episode is the same place that you may recall. It has been in operation for 30 years. In 1971 the ticket cost was $10!

Since you mention a place upstairs on W45th St., I recall that at some point (in the late 70s??) there was a place called Lucky Lady, on the blcok of W45th west of 6th Ave, N side of street. Charged I think $15 for a ticket. Was Episodes around there then? Wish i'd known about Episodes then! maybe i'd be grandfathered in now!
