Maximus Johnson, former owner of the infamous Yahoo Board "Sex With Adult Film Stars" was deleted with him being said anything or advised.
Here is his e-mail he wanted for all of those that were members to read:

Greetings Seth, my friend.
I'm stunned.
Apparently there is no system for notifying founders when their groups are going to be deleted, so I didn't discover that the group was missing until about 5 p.m. today (Wednesday), and that was while I was reading my e-mail.
I've sent a message asking Yahoo for an explaination through their feedback system, but I don't expect the response to be positive or forthcoming.
It's only now that it's starting to sink in that I spent thousands of hours over the past two years building up a following with what I believed was a good service that was, thankfully, almost completely free of SPAM and the petty bickering that mars so many other groups.
And for all that effort, I never made a dime and never reaped any benefits involving PSEs. I even signed every post with a lowercase "m," a reminder to myself that the club is not for me but for everyone.
Sorry to be so whiny, but I'm tired and little pissed. Tonight, I'll raise a few shots of expensive tequila in honor of SWAFS and, more importantly, the fine people who made it what it was.
My only wish is that this note could have gone to all members before being deleted. If you see an appropriate place to post this, by all means do so.
