I am a Edgartown area regular, as well as spending plenty of time elsewhere on the island.
There is little, if anything, in the way of sex for pay in Martha's Vineyard. All sorts of recreational sex during the summer, when the young, dumb and full of cum come to the island to party [gawd I hate it when they show up]. The whole night life just becomes a big meat market/singles scene.
Just hit any of the clubs in Edgartown.
I keep threatening to move to West Tisbury, because its much quieter there. But I do love Katama so.

Well, at one time you had to do "The Black Dog" just to say you did it. Its OK, but far from the best on the Island. Its very expensive and very touristy. I say buy the tee shirt in September, when all the tee's are being sold two and three for the price of one and be done with it.
For breakfast in Edgartown its the Daggett House. Great.
Its my first stop in the morning before I head out to anyplace else.
Out of the way and not as well known by off islanders is a beautiful place in West Tisbury. Its called Lambert's Cove. Its a Restaurant/Inn. The rooms there are nice as well.
For French food try the "Le Grenier". Its on Main St in Vineyard Haven. The food is OK, but its the deserts that will make you come back again.
"The Main St Diner" is good for a quick bite, as is Harry's Deli, if you want to grab a sandwich. Both are in Edgartown.
I've mentioned several in Edgartown. Its the part of the Island I stay when there, so its the area where I eat the most. So its not to say there aren't other little places I haven't run into, or have but have forgotten as its not a place I've eaten at often.
I have to tell you, I go on my own sometimes and sometimes with my "old lady". But I most often go with at least one other couple, and sometimes two, and we share a home there in Katama that faces South Beach and has a lovely breeze way. So, we eat dinner at home a lot, making the meals together and then eating in the breezeway. Its one of my favorite things to do. So I don't eat out as often as I might otherwise.
I hope that helps a little. I wish I could offer more. The island has dozens, if not a several hundred, places.
Truthfully, I am thinking of going up early this year. So if its a early May you are planning on being there, I may just bump into you.
