This is the course of addiction:

First stage - 10 minutes a week on one board. You occasionally even forget the URL.

Second stage - 30 minutes a day. You decide to bookmark the URL.

Third stage - You find yourself getting up earlier to fire up the connection (not you, of course, Christle) for that early morning fix. Forget the bookmark - it's now tattoed on your brain.

Fourth stage - Friends are having to drag you out for nourishment, sunlight, social interaction. You're convinced your emotions can only truly flow through the QWERTY.

Fifth stage - Multiple browser windows. You discover life can be lived in several dimensions simultaneously. Always on the lookout for that next great site.

Terminal progression is almost certain at this stage.

You know, it's funny, but every once in a while, we have someone who wanders in, who is a poster on various boards, but here they just seem to come in, say "HI", and disappear back into the woodwork.
