hotel information please for center city

i need a nice hotel in center city that is between 11th and 17th street does anyone have any suggestions please any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not that familiar with the Jersey City area, but thought I'd recommend getting in touch with NJ Exotics. They are out of that area, and have used some nice hotels up there for their parties.

I was in Philly couple days ago and the Park Hyatt is a good bet. Nice location , walking distance from South Street (shops, cafes, restaurants etc).

Westin, Sofitel, Hyatt - all good. There are others.
I've had good luck in Philly by using Priceline - specify central city location, 1-4 stars for hotel class and state a nice low price (you pick what you'd like to pay) - they can often find a hice place for much lower than the "rack rate". Eg. I recently scored a night at the Omni near Independence mall for $90/nite - a room that usually goes for close to $200.

Warning - you can't pick the exact hotel - only a 1-4 star category. You state the $$ and they pick a hotel if they can. If they find one at your rate - you gotta take it.
