For awhile I was often staying the week in Manhattan. My favorite place was the Roger Smith on Lex at 47Th - (for you old time Pervs - just around the corner was Dangerous Curves and Shenanigans. Plus with my corp rate I could get a huge suite for about $240.) I was often out late a night.

Around major hotel clusters - such as Lex 47 to 50 or so, The Sheratons on 7th, etc, there are lots of women on the stroll who are perhaps best met on foot. Unless you plan on being "air dropped" there you will have to drive since it's all commercial and has very little 'if any' public transportation. However, once you get there you can walk around... with air support and a small division of heavily armed men.

Even if they know a provider is a provider the cops can't get you for soliciting if they haven't heard or see the transaction. Johns and providers don't always have paid sex. A misdemeanor offense has to be observed in some way for there to be a conviction. Circumstantial evidence is not sufficent to find for the State in a prosecution when talking about offenses/misdemeanors opposed to criminal/felonies.

So, if the cops bust you for banging in your car they can, and will, certainly charge you for public lewdness. However, they can't pop you for a prostitution of soliciting charge unless one of the only two people who witnessed the transaction for same becomes a witness for the State [or they lie and said they saw something they didn't see, which happens sometimes].

Don't bother with strolling Leavenworth/Geary/Mason for SWs. Very llittle action these days.

As you noticed, there are plenty of AMPs in area. Compared to SF, NYC is a prudish city filled with religious freaks. The AMPs are pretty open and cops either are on the take or dont care. House rate is 40-60 with ~100 tip for girl. If you're white, it'll be 20-40 more.

I have to agree with you about MSC, there are rip off artists there that will make the Tina Parker crowd seem like amateurs, but occasionally you can find a few gems there. $15 entry fee, plus an extra $15 for "Sin City" which is basically the private dance booths (there is also a movie theater that shows XXX movies). For the asian lovers, about half of the girls working there are asian (Chinese, Vietnamese, Philippino).
