Session management; who's responsibility ?

Let's say I see an indy for an hour session for $400. The hour goes by and I'm having a great time and it seems she is also. We go over the hour. Way over the hour. Two hours, then three, then four. I have a great time and leave her $600, which seems to me to be a 50% tip off of what we had scheduled.

I'm not absolutely sure if this is right. Should I have said something after the firs hour or is it her responsibility ?

OK, so now I schedule a second appointment. The exact same thing happens. I figure it's just how she must opperate, no ? She knew what happened the first time,and if she didn't like it she either shouldn't have scheduled a second one or should have made some comment about payment, etc, no ?

As a result, I tell a few friends. They see her and have the exact same experience. So now, is this her "business model", or are we a bunch of guys "taking advantage" of her ?

Who is responsible for managing her business, me/us or her ?

I feel that since it is her "business", she runs it as she sees fit. Im sure if she felt she was being taken advantage of, she would choose not to see you again, or mention something to you about "hourly" payment. As long as you are all having fun, go for it. Seems to me she is obviously enjoying herself also. I also think that since you did go way over the initial hour, the tip was a wonderful touch.:)

Lets add a little to the situation. Say the girl in question is very young (legal age) naive and sweet. All previous work she has done in this field has been done through an agency. She has had no experience with these matters until very recently when she decided to venture out on her own. Before this the agency made the phone call to let both parties know that the agreed upon and paid for time was over.

I know the girl in question and I believe that the guys who greatly overstayed their time with her without adequate compensation have taken advantage of her lack of experience in these matters.

ok first it is her total responsability to throw us out after an hr or SO......thats a big SO. however.....if we all keep going back and seeing her for 3 and 4 hour sessions only because she gives us multi hrs free....we are taking advantage if her kindness....thats all. now if we at least offer her something in return... a better tip would be nice, or as MRNY likes to point out 50% is always good. or maybe spend one or two of those extra hours talking or maybe order dinner..something to show her your not just there to squeeze as many bangs in 4 hours as you can. i mean, she's nice enough to let you stay that extra time.....do something nice for her to show that you appreiceate it. wheeew!

btw...... on my last experience with this sort of thing...i stayed for 2hr 30 minutes....at $400/hr. i gave $600. then splurged for another $150 for dinner....$50 for flowers while walking her home. she was sooo grateful she asked me to stay the night, which i did. then i spent $40 on breakfast...this is NYC, $50 more on flowers(she loved fresh pink roses). began dating her for a few days...at which i spent a combined est. 1200-1500. for assort dinners and lunches and a few gifts, bowling,movies,dvd rentals and getting my brains bashed in by most of my friends on various bulletin boards around the net.....about 30 i told you so's for dating this "provider" semi self imposed banishment from said bulletin boards. a ruined relationship with that same said provider and a few friends from said bulletin boards because a few gentlemen got jealous due to our sudden relationship, some more bashing just for kicks and let me see...oh yes, aprox 10 hrs total sleep over 7 days, driving around with my clothes in my car and basically watching a poor girls emotions get abused simply because some people couldn't understand that she just wanted to try and be happy with someone nice even if for only a few days or weeks......

well all powerful moderator........you can't say you didn't ask for it......it's a good thing we're friends. now that should bump up the # of postings around here.

I find the entire notion that any John knows what's good for a pro more than the pro herself just a little condescendingly nauseating. If session time runs over, and the pro allows it, I can only assume that she doesn't have a problem with it. On the other hand, I think it's perfectly fair for a pro to charge for excessive overtime (as long as she makes you aware that she's doing it before you go over). Conversely, I think that it's every john's responsibility to make sure that he gets his full amount of time and isn't shortchanged. Has anyone ever had a madame/agency owner scold you for going overtime?

It happened to me today after a superb session...i was grinning ear to ear as i was walking out of an incall place, then the madame laid into me about going overtime by 30 min, and the appointment that cancelled because of my overtime visit, and the "i hope you tipped her well" comment just all spoiled my good mood and made me feel like an ass. Meanwhile, nobody rushed me, knocked on the door, mentioned that time was running out or another appt was waiting, and i was even offered a shower and another drink....it all led me to think i could take my time.

I truly thought this young lady was really enjoying herself, as she just kept going, even though i had popped near the end of the hour....i figured she was just enjoying herself and wasn't a clock watcher...what the hell? What guy is going to stop in the middle of a BJ and say "ok, you've gotta quit now...time's up...now take my dick out of your mouth!"

Was it technically rude of me to go overtime?...yes. Do i technically owe more money for eating up more time?...yes. Did i intentionally want to screw over anybody or bump some other guy's appointment?....no. But i guess if this is such an issue, then they should knock on the door or just tell me that time's up. I'm not responsible for running their fucking business and making sure they're on time...they are! When you go to Disneyland, do you get out and stop the ride yourself because "time's up"?....No! You keep riding it until Disney tells you the ride is over.

What i've concluded is that some agencies will have the girls go above and beyond the call of duty so that they have you on the hook, then they pressure you for more $$$. The truth is...if i had more money with me, i probably would have coughed it up. I felt pretty stupid that i assumed she was just not being a clockwatcher and enjoying the session. I found myself worrying that her boss would reduce her take on the fees to make up for the lost appointment. Truth is that there probably never was a cancelled appointment on my account.

It was an incall place in another east coast city (not NY). The owner was the one who busted my chops, as i was walking out with the girl. The girl was sweet as could be, and she didn't say a word as this was going on. And yes, i did leave a tip...it wasn't much, but it was all i had. I never expected, first of all, that we would go overtime...maybe it was actually another 15 min of addtional action...the rest being cleanup and shower. And i never expected to be ripped a new one over it. If i wasn't traveling home that day and needed the money, i would have given more.

I've also seen this happen two other times with other agencies.

And, i had no idea that another appointment was scheduled after mine. There was no mention of it, and it's not my responsibility to know. If i knew somebody would actually miss/cancel their appointment, i would have stopped...i hate it when i'm delayed by somebody else.

I find in interesting. And Im not directing this at any owners or girls, that an owner would scold a client for running late, but hundreds, yes HUNDREDS of times girls have been at least 30 minutes late getting to me, they scold me for getting pissed off.
They are always scolding someone. They feel like hey, its not a perfect world, and these girls, well, what can I tell you.

How do you know when an agency is trying to put you on the hook for more money? What do you do if you didn't come prepared ($$$) for this?

It's like going to a show and the performers come out and do an encore...then at the door, they tell you you SHOULD (but don't absolutely have to) pay an additional fee for the excellent encore before you leave, and they give you the guilt trip.

I'm not like some of the gents on this board...leaving big tips, buying dinner and flowers, and doing multihour appts with expensive providers. I think that like alot of people here, if i were totally fiscally responsible, i wouldn't be doing this at all...but i do try to be careful with my money and stay within a budget. Being careful is what permits me to hobby. To me, spending huge sums of money on this is a waste. I've had some of the best sessions of my life for under $200, and i don't think a $500 orgasm is necessarily better than a $200 orgasm (i think that's another topic on this board). At some point, i think even the high priced pornstars who charge $1500 and up per hour, that when you blank out the "pornstar" label and you see them as a person, they're just as human as the $300 girl, and the sex can only be as good as your physiology permits...which is probably about the same no matter whether the girl is expensive or not. Has anybody here ever had a stroke with the $1500 girl because the sex was 6 times better than the $250 girl?

But, i guess from now on, i'm gonna have to walk around with an extra Franklin in my back pocket just in case.

this isnt a car rental when you sign if youre late one hour, you pay an extra days rental.
If the agency or girl is that tight on each hour, they should make it their business to let you know your time is up.
If the client cant accept this, then he doesnt have to come back
If the agency doesnt lilke that type of client, so what,
Noone is expected to tip, or pay after the fact for something that wasnt agreed on first.
(Its the same when one has a shitty session with a girl, will the agency refund my money if I was totally unsatisfied. NO, NO, NO)

I have associates in the consulting business who provide free services to get the client 'hooked", then gradually charge them full rates.
