Having gone directly from a strip club, there's no question that the trannie party was more fun. At least the trannies know how to be sexy.

OTOH, if like me you don't like people who look like they've had work done . . . well, not having had work done isn't possible here.

Highly recommended.

Thanksfor the undate JL. I hadn't seen one of their ads in a while. How large a crowd was there? What was location, door charge, ambience, size of crowd. I think wehn they first opened someone posted you had to buy a "girl" a drink to get her to talk to you, but how different is that from any bar. Were there working girls, civilains or both?

Thanks for the heads up JL! I have been meaning to go over but I have been busy this month. Just as magic says I have not seen their ads, for I have seen them on CL and have you heard words on the other days they throw parties? I do recall seeing that they had parties on other days also? By the way have work done doesn't bother me at all.

I don't know how publicly they advertise (it seemed pretty out-in-the-open to me, but what do I know?). So if you guys don't know where it is, I guess I won't tell you.

The crowd consisted of like three guys other than the two guys I went with. The place was empty.

The door was a tranny sitting at the door.

The ambience was an empty downstairs bar. Not fancy.

I don't think there were any civilians. People would talk to you without your buying them a drink -- in an empty bar, how could they not? -- but since the person I was most interested in never talked to me, maybe for at least some you have to.

There were definitely announcements of parties at other locations.

If I find out it's OK to disclose the location and shit, I definitely will.

Welly, Sunny is a friend of mine, so she gets a free plug:

Her Friday event is currently at Remix, 27 Park Place. Her Tuesday event is at HK at 409 West 39th Street, and her grand opening for her Sunday party is this week at Rush, 579 Sixth Ave @16th St. I wouldn't recommend going before 11PM (or later) to any of these. Peak time tends to be 1AM to 2AM.

I had arranged for free admission at the Tuesday party for UG members, but no one who went admitted to being from UG. Who knows? Maybe if you tell her you're from UG you'll get some sort of discount at one of her events.

PS JL is underestimating the number of guys who were there, but I could see how he could feel that way due to the size of the spot vs the number of patrons. Tuesday tends to be the biggest night, but based on her soft opening for the Sunday party 2 days ago, the grand openning this week with Monday a holiday could be good. If there's enough demand for it, I'm sure I can arrange some sort of UG discount or drink specials.

I've gone to a few of Sunny's parties. More of a corner lurker, casual chatter, but they have usually been packed, at least late. Have a few coktails before going and bring some coins to tip. Buy a drink for only the ones you want to chat with. I got propositioned several times for outside the club extra's - didn't and don't know the costs.
Sunny is absolutely delightful!!!

Apparently there's going to be an open bar on Sunday from 10 to 11, which is on the early side for these events, but I guess if you're a drinker it would be worth going as you could drink more than the cover $ if nothing else.
