I am hoping that having moderators using their "real handles" rather than all using UG Staff will curtail some of the attacks from many members on past staff members: I think maybe since they were anonymous they were seen as less than poeple? In any case, i will not tollerate the flaiming of moderators on this site. It has taken too much effort to find guys generous enough to donate their time for me to continue to let them be run off by flamers.

Also, I want to sincerely thank all past staff members for all the hard work which they put in to helping run UG.

If anyone wants to follow in seeker6591's footsteps (see "Not Pay for Play" section) we are open to getting new moderators for many of the underutilized sections.This is especially true for locations in the "Local Areas" section, outside of the NY/NJ/CT area.

If anyone is, or knows someone, who is active other places than the NY/NJ/CT area who would do a job like seeker6591 has done with his section please let us know!!!!!!!

have you ever considered going to live moderation for the entire board on say 4 hour shifts?

in other words...1 moderator handles the entire board ( except Spa ) for a 4 hour shift...then the baton changes hands to a new moderator.

naturally this would involve many RELIABLE VOLUNTEERS.

what do you think ?

Thanks Gavy. My commitment to UG is strong but I have little time nowadays. There are a number of great guys here, but much more self-confidence is needed on their part to step forward.
