"come to think about it"

so twice in a short thread he shows us thinking is not a primary function in his communication skills.

I think you spelled it "incorrectly".

I've always had a problem with adverbs.

But you clearly have a sense of humor and can take a little ribbing. Good for you. BTW - I have never been to the place you asked about.

When I first started working in NYC I went to Privelege. This was around 2002. Before the renovations. This was at the time when it was the most high contact club in NYC. The girls gave high contact lapdances throughout the club on par with most NJ places and many dances that I knew from clubs in NJ worked there. If you have ever been to any other NYC clubs you will know what I mean. Most clubs the girls don't even touch you on the main floor while giving lapdances. How far you get is in the VIP has to do with the girl you bring in and how much money you have. My recipe for a good time is stick to Brazilians, So. Am, and Black girls. Chat up the girls first and see if she is receptive to extras. The girls who come right out and tell you what is on the menu are usually sure bets but there are alot of scammers in NYC. See how much contact she will allow on the main floor and how much she touches you. One girls came right out and gave me a partial HJ during the duration of 2 dances.. Ran out of money though.

I was at Privilege on Sat night. Avg girls a notch below the upscale places. Had one dancer milking me to the hilt for dances. Would sit down and just get up and start dancing and expected tips. Would start dancing at the end of one song and then dance for a full song and the first minute of the next song and then try to charge for 3 songs. Overall same cost as a VIP or Scores. No mileage at all.

No mileage? Although things have been toned down a bit since the club's glory days a few years ago, Privilege still has pretty high-contact dances.

Yeah no mileage for me. Considering what I spent I was surprised. In hindsight I should have tossed off the girl that was tracking me and went for another option. No one to blame but myself!!!

PS - was at VIP earlier in the night and that was not much better. It was my first time there in about 9 months and it was not comparable to my last trip.

But I did go to Wolfgangs steakhouse on Park ave in the 30's. Great meal and highly recommended. Ex Luger guy opened it. Great for a business lunch/dinner or for a night out with the lady

I'm 100% with you on Wolfgang's.

(In fact, this isn't even off topic, since the last few times I've been there has been with a dancer who now works at Privilege.)

wolfgang's is awesome. sparks is fabulous too. anybody try the steakhouse at penthouse executive? so then privilege is not in the same category as vip or scores then.

justlooking

I don't see VIP and Scores as being in any kind of same category. What do you mean, exactly?

trigon
12-21-2005, 08:46 AM
consistancy in service with regard to vip rooms.

justlooking
12-21-2005, 10:17 AM
Ah.

Here's a key difference between Scores and VIP on the one hand and Privilege on the other: Scores and VIP have private VIP rooms; Privilege doesn't. See where that's leading?

trigon
12-21-2005, 11:15 AM
yes, but I was referring to the overall mentality of the dancers rather than the architecture of the rooms. there are always ways to get around the room design. my concern is with gambling on exorbitant vip rooms without certainty of at least hr.

justlooking
12-21-2005, 12:01 PM
At least in the more pretentious places, I usually find a pretty high correlation between "overall mentalities" and architecture.

trigon
12-21-2005, 01:14 PM
would you say that this correlation is also causal? perhaps the the privacy of the room has a subtle effect on the mind of the girl and what the expectations of her are? in general in the clubs, would you say that dancers learn expectations from clients, management or other dancers at a venue? I'm more or less accustomed to the mp's in the city, where the rules are more clear cut. I used to visit nyc clubs under giuliani when there
was only "air dances" and concluded that the places were more or less
ripoffs. I had no idea that the atmosphere had become more permissive
in recent years. I still think the fees at the clubs are costly even when extras are offered but I kind of like the idea that you can get to know the girls and relax and that there is a range of options from simply having a drink and chatting to getting a vip room as opposed to mps' where simply walking into the place kind of obligates you to stay for a session and you often don't even get to choose your attendant. I must say that I enjoy the ucertainty aspect of the clubs as well.

justlooking
12-21-2005, 01:26 PM
I'd say it's causal in a much less subtle way. Where things can happen easily, and a lot of money will be paid for them, they will. (And of course the money is going to management as well as the individual contractors, so there's lots of incentive on all sides.)

It's simple.

The "uncertainty" you mention is EXACTLY what I don't enjoy . That's why, with very few exceptions, I avoid mainstream clubs, especially if seeking 'extras". There's too much money at stake for a poor working man like me, and no real guarentee. I only go to the occassional strip club to have a beer, watch some bouncing titties, and maybe a lap dance every now and then . If I want more action than that, I'll think about going to a house or indie (don't do MPs, because I heard about sometimes not getting a choice).
And I know JL isn't really a fan, but the UG to me provides the best of both worlds, if you can tolerate some annoying aspects of it that get on my nerves. You can enjoy a drink and some dances, and reasonably priced extras are there if you want them . I know JL is going to say "but those girls aren't as pretty as the ones in Scores or VIP or Hustler" .Depends on your tastes and budget . Hey, any woman looks good with my dick in her mouth , especially if I didn't have to pay the cost of a HDTV set to get it there
