NJE and NNJE

This post is just a chance for me to vent on an issue that has been bothering me for several weeks:

When we first opened NJE a few years back, we were proud to be the only full service Incall and Outcall agency in the North Jersey area.

We knew who our competition was and had a pretty good plan to stay competitive both in pricing and quality. And the plan seemed to be working, receiving 20,000 visits to our site every month.

On several occaasions we received calls from people to complain about service or to ask why our sites name had changed. It hadn't, and the somplaints were on girls that we did not employ.

Then one day we noticed that one of our competitors had changed their URL to one extremely similar to ours, nnjescorts.com.

At first we were confused why a company would up and change their URL from something everyone recognized to something more like ours. Then we realized what was happening.

Then I realized why someone would want to do this: NJE has not had 1 bad review posted about us, NJE provides BOTH Incall and Outcall, and NJE is still the only AGENCY providing Private Parties to its members.

Why wouldn't another agency want to confuse themselves with us.

NJE is still the lowest priced agency in our area. We are still the only full service agency providing both Incall and Outcall throughout all of New Jersey. And we have no negative reviews on UG or ***.

Anyway, I was trying to make my point short and sweet, but my stress got the best of me. Branding is very important in this business and we have taken great care to make sure our name is known throughout the area.

How would Pepsi feel if Coke changed their name to Mepsi?

I have used both services, and have never confused the two. Nj-exotics website is not as updated as nnjescorts. Nnjescorts post new pics and adds new girls almost on a weekly basis. Unfortunately nj-exotics seems to have the same pics from day one. I personally like Kevin, he is honest and personable on the phone, but unless these upgrades to his website happen soon I think he might be losing business to Amber. Imho. Peace

While the initials are close, no one creates a name for their business thinking about initials.

One is New Jersey Exotics. The other Northern New Jersey Escorts.

The names aren't close at all except for the mention of the state they reside in. And that is simply factual. They both work out of New Jersey.

Kevin. I like your company, but I have to be honest. It doesn't make sense that a customer would call you, at a totally different telephone number from Ambers, and complain about their girls. No more then it would make sense the other way round.

If it truly is the case, wouldn't it make more sense to contact each other and work it out in a friendly manner behind the scenes, rather then in public where it makes it look like it might be a case of sour grapes?

Seriously. I'm talking strictly from a business point of view. REAL problems like this get handled between companies behind the scenes. Not out in plain sight of their customers. Its bad form. Its bad business.

Just a friendly notion from someone who thinks you run a decent shop and would like to see you do well.

BTW, I can say the same for Amber's. I'd like to see them do well too. There are PLENTY of johns to go around in N.J. A place that has been starving for local providers of any sort of quality.

So, both of you do well, make money, and keep us smiling. OK?

i have to agree. you'd have to be a severe dumbass to confuse nj-exotics with nnjescorts. Being that ambers place made the site a bit later its looks better. I'm guessing that nj-exotics used the service that this one company runs for there web site. I hate to say that I really don't like the look of the site. It starts off with some misleading click through banners and the site seems to be updated infrequently. I'm not sure if they paid for the site or not but from my professional opinion, its not really good. Maybe it was a site in exchange for services.....who knows.

either way. how about people get off ambers place for a while. seems like they arn't making any waves so lets not instigate.

Yes, my site sucks. I know this and do not keep it a secret. My site sucks. And no, we do not update and change girls regularly. We try not to operate a revolving door operation and have kept the same girls for some time. When we do hire someone we make sure they are happy in the business and will be able to make our customers happy.

Case and point: Find a negative review on UG or *** written about NJE.....well at least prior to yesterday's post!

Again I will stress that I am not trying to bring Ambers "down". I have studied Ambers and have even used some of their practices as models for NJE.

Anyway, enough on this issue. I guess I will keep my mouth (hands) shut in the future.

When I think about some of the places I have done business with (in other states and one other country), most of my favorites had pretty crummy web sites. I would not be concerned with having a "professional" looking site.

Of course, in any business, if people feel confused they tend to not want to buy whatever you are selling. If the information on your site is accurate and easy to understand I think that is the important thing.

RW, the problem is, NJE's site has all of the aweful misleading "click here for........" ads that like like they are part of the site. The banner at the top is not about NJE, but about pay sites.

If it was a barter for services Kevin got ripped off. You could do that site in less than an hour with any of the popular HTML editors.

Newsflash: I have never even seen the NJE site. Kevin tells us he has never seen a bad review here or on another board, but I am wondering if we've ever seen a GOOD review. How about any reviews at all? Color me thick, but I have never really noticed much about NJE at all.

A&F/NNJE probably wanted a name change to get away from all the confusion about Amber (an escort from NNJE) being the owner of the agency (she is not). Regardless of their reasons, "NJ" is hardly copyrighted for exclusive use by anyone.

The current reality is that NNJE has had a lot of press here lately, good and bad. The old adage, "it doesn't matter what they write about you, as long as they spell your name right", is probably applicable in this case. Also, they have done a lot of public damage control that resulted in some pretty happy customers.

So, it seems almost desperate for the proprietor of another agency to come here hinting at unfair business practices. If not desparate, perhaps just really paranoid. Kevin: I am saying this with no prejudice. I am making an observation based solely on your posts in this thread.

So, I guess now I have to check out NJE and see a few of the ladies there. [sigh] It's a tough job, but somebody has got to do it. ;-)

OK, I admit it, paranoia had gotten the best of me. I have been around for several years and have really just gotten in to the internet arena. Our web site has only been up since May and we only joined this board in September. But I realized early on that there is great opportunity online and on the review boards.

Ambers: I appologize. I posed a question that should have not been posed. But I suggested it only because I could not figure it out. Maybe I should have called to ask why the change. I guess I got my answer!

As far as reviews, maybe you could do a search of these names: Alazay, China Doll, Sasha (not to be confused with Sasha), and Sheena. These are our girls and have had good reviews post here. OK, maybe not hundreds, but again we are new to this, advertise only locally, and just got in to the internet thing. It has only been since September that we have been visible on this board. Again, in no way would I take anyone's opinion as an attack.

And PLEASE come by and check us out. We have some good girls, they have been with us for a while and are extremely fun. Maybe come by Friday to Newark and visit the party. Peace.
