I think NJ has the same rule as PA....if its nude, then its BYOB. At least the last time I was at Hott22 in Union it was like that. Actually it's better because you don't get hammered by overpriced drinks. The last time I was at Hott22 we brought our own beer from the liquor store which is a walk away.

I haven't been to a NYC strip club in ages, but I remember the last time I was at a nude club in the city.....the Paradise Club near the Empire State Building (I don't know if it still exists). It was a tourist trap of sorts where the girls would hit you up for tips constantly and would try to lure you to one of their "fantasy" rooms for big $$$. I was in the city on a Saturday and I had missed the train back to Jersey, so I decided to head over (I had been there before and was clued into the high price/no mileage aspect, but figured I'd just hang around and look at the ladies) to Paradise Club for a while.
I ended up sitting next to a guy who was in town on business. We got to talking and the guy thought he was getting "tipsy" from all the beer he was drinking (he didn't realize it was non-alcoholic). It was relatively slow and there were lots of dancers approaching us for their slow touch dances (at the time legal...don't know about now). There was one girl this guy was really into, so he headed into the back with her. He comes out telling me how great it was and downs a few more drinks. Now he is convinced that he is drunk and the girl he had the slow dances with sits next to him and he buys her a drink. Long story short.....she talks him into an hour's time in one of the fantasy rooms for $500 (keep in mind the guy was "drunk"). The girl takes his credit card and walks away and the guy leans over to me and slurs - "Aaaw yeah, Im gunna get laid with this hottie." I told him I didn't think that kind of stuff happened there but he was convinced that he was going to get FS. She came back...he signed the receipt and left with her.
There was a 2 hour lapse in between trains, so I hung around until he came back, and upon returning (45 minutes at the most....she even cut his time short) to his seat he is steaming mad because he says all he got was some brief feels over his pants and a few slow dances with her while she was nude. He told me she didn't even allow him to feel her up. As it was getting time for the next train to come around I told him to cut his losses and head out with me. We were walking out and I pointed out Empire Erotica (I don't know if this place still exists either) and told him they had live booths where at least he could finish himself off to a live show. He said - "Yeah, I feel like my balls are going to explode" and headed in.

New York: Nude with no alcohol (Stiletto is the only one left in Manhattan. Paradise is now Rick's Cabaret. Wiggles is the only one in Queens, and none in the other boros. NY State is mostly topless with alcohol or nude non alcoholic.
Pennsylvania: Topless (with pasties in many areas required) serve alcohol and there are nude BYOB places as well.

Makes no sense, but then again, a lot of our laws don't. Just something dreamed up in the past by our puritan fathers and very difficult to change. Who the hell is going to campaign on a platform to change it?

Slightly off subject but relevant I think:

I drink my scotch either neat or with some ice. When you do that (especially neat) it is easy to identify the brand/age/water percentage of what you are drinking. Mixed drinks or drinks like scotch and water (why anyone drinks that beats me) give the bar an opportunity to water the booze and/or deliver a lesser brand w/o detection, especially if the drinker has had a couple already. When I get served other than what I have ordered after the 1st sip, I make a face, push the drink aside, tell the barkeep that I changed my mind and switch to bottled beer (I don't think you can - or even want to, win such an argument with the barkeep). I pay for the drink but don’t tip for the scotch. We both know what’s going on but I don’t get thrown out of the place.

I kinda like the BYOB places in that the entertainment tends to be more to my liking and I know what I am drinking. In the places that I used to frequent, where you leave the bottle with "your name" on it, I would bring my scotch in some container that was labeled other than what I put in it e.g. I would use a bottle of Duggan's Dew or Inver House.

Any experiences?

Actually VIP's in Linden is nude (no alcohol)
Harem in Lodi is nude BYOB

an aside since Lace has opened many girls at the club next door will get nude in the VIP rooms there..

You guys forgot that with the nude clubs since they dont serve drinks bring in a younger crowd ,guys 18 to 20 who spend no money on anything, they sit there with 1 drink and give the girls 1 dollar and the girls quit, example Goldfingers Xtreme, they had a young thug crowd that drove away the good girls and decent crowd . You cant have that crowd anymore and expect to remain in business .

That is exactly why all clubs should be nude and serve alcohol. All clubs would be 21 and over to enter. If only certain state governments wouldn't put in place such ridiculous restrictions on adult entertainment. NJ is one of the only states in the nation to not allow topless entertainers in establishments that serve alcohol. Therefore, they are no cover, piece of crap Go-Go bars.

I'm usually looking for a lapdance of some kind, and watching a dancer with some clothes on (and what she does with them, in terms of a tease) -- something about her "stage personality" -- often gives me a taste of what might be in store during a private dance. Sometimes, that is.... we have all been burned.

GoldFingers Friction and Extreme closed in August. Lost their lease. It had a swing club too. Place was outrageous.

That's actually a shame. In the Extreme section, they had private rooms at $30/song plus tip to the girl, where the sky was pretty much the limit. Also, I always found the girls there were very open to take-out. Anyone have any idea where any of the dancers from this club landed?

A few went to the sister club on Queens Blvd. Heavenly and a few of the long timers went to the Riviera in Astoria. and some of the better girls wound up at InFinities. My ATF from there, Jada, went to Crazy Horse in the Bronx.
