I saw this in the Ledger this morning. I have been at this place daytime and occasionally at its neighbor Wild Things in the evening. While the area is a little shady looking, I never really felt uncomfortable. I do recall that a couple years ago another guy was beaten and killed outside of this same club.

Risking an occasional beating is one thing, but three or four people shot? Also will really increase the pressure the town will put on these places. I hate to see them make the main stream radar.

2:30 AM anyplace in Elizabeth, Newark etc.... can be extra risky.

You are so right. Lookers had someone die in their parking lot a few months ago. I expect the politicians to start cracking down, looking to close places, etc.

Eliz...Newark...Irvington...Paterson...Oranges....these are places that you DON'T want to be in after dark....yes, mostly it IS safe enough for us hobbiests...but it only takes ONE mistake to end the whole scene into a fucking disaster...and for what..to get your cock sucked?

Good point Capitan. I used to frequent Lookers a few years ago during the afternoon and never worried about having any problems. One can't be naive to think all would be well and should use common sense if going to any place at night.

shit can happen anywhere. there's been at least 4 murders at clubs in
Westchester...but that's over the past 10 years. that being said, i think SC's are no more dangerous than any other "nightlife" establishment. fact is, all the assholes come out at night.

Very true the mix of alcohol and drugs can cause things to happen at any club BUT some areas are more crime ridden. I like to know I can relax if my car is in a parking lot OR that if I walk out of the club impared I'm not going to be attacked.
