Hello all-
Some of you might know me from ***'s chat room but this is my first post here. Great site by the way!
Ok, here goes.......
Help!
I'm looking for a provider who can speak intelligently about the local sports teams (Yankees, Giants, Rangers, Knicks, etc...).
Believe it or not, I've been in this hobby for a few years now and still have not gotten past conversation which includes "oh, Jeter is sooooo cute" or "I love those tight pants they wear" or "what's a puck?"
That is BS. I want to know what you think about the Yankees signing Mike Mussina, what do the Giants have to do to get back to the Super Bowl next year, why do the Rangers suck so bad? Stuff like that.
Think about it, a lot of providers advertise they can speak intelligently about art, history, business, politics......blah, blah, blah, blah. Who cares!
Does any provider say, "Hey, I love sports!!!!!", "If you love the Yankees, I am for you!" or "I know the difference between a first down and first base.”
Conversation is a part of any meeting so why not make it about something 95% of men out there enjoy. Maybe I'm in the minority here, I don't know, but among my friends, family and work colleagues, sports is the biggest conversation piece we have. All I hear is "Gee, I wish my wife or girlfriend could talk sports."
Ladies, if you want to make a fantasy a reality for a lot of guys, then read up on local sports.
I would love to hear of any ladies who can fulfill this fantasy of mine. Any other thoughts are appreciated as well.
Thanks.

BW

Bro Shauna is a diehard Yankee fan- she is an expert in that area- goes to a few games from time to time. As to Rangers, Knicks and Giants- thats tough!

robnotbob,

Having seen the same provider you are talking about, I bet that talking sports with her was the high point of your session. What a waste of a tongue stud.

I met her at her stadium, and discreetly gave her the tickets and tip in an envelope. We got comfortable in our seats. Nice view. I quickly had my first cup of warm, flat, overpriced, yet strangely tasty beer while she had a hotdog. We rested a bit, I hit a double, stretched it to a triple, and finally had another cup of beer, which tasted even better this time. After the seventh inning stretch, she went for another hotdog and persuaded me to have another cup of beer. All in all a very nice experience.

yes. but the dude said he wanted to *talk* sports.Maybe he'd be better off with Sal Maricianos daughter, Sam .
for enough stones, you could probably get any local lady to listen to Mike and the Maddog and throw a decent rap between schtuppings.

Just so there is no misunderstanding, performance still outwieghs conversation by quite a bit, but it sure would be nice to talk sports with a beautiful lady every now and then.
Thanks Carl M for the info. on Shauna, good to know. As if she wasn't perfect already! lol
I better give her a call before she heads down to Florida for her own version of spring training!
Love to hear if any more are out there.

Phantom: I don't think we are talking about the same girl. I saw Amanda Witherspoon and I had a great time.

Jennifer of NYC is conversant about sports, especially regarding the Yankees and Knicks. She also knows something about college basketball. Although I never see her to talk about these topics, it does crop up in our conversation from time to time. Check her out, it is well worth your time.

Concerning Ms. Waldman, she is a treasure on the FAN and has the respect of sports reporters everywhere. From my own experience, she knows way more than most guys about the teams that she covers.

come on, waldman hates the Yankees -- she is a long time Red Sox fan. She has some inside info, but is otherwise terrible.
