Dress and clothing preferences

Just wondering what clothing preferences you guys have that you would like to see your selected date for the evening arrive in. Also you ladies can chime in to what suggestions from guys are appropriate or not.

I like very casual. I LOVE tight, faded, blue jeans with either a tee shirt or tank top. I would rather have her arrive dressed like she would be if I met her some place out of the business, instead of dressed to the nines, athough that sort of dress does have it's place at times.

My most recent date arrived wearing stylish black ankle high boots with chunky heels. Black, very soft, lambskin jeans. A light blue, turtleneck cashmere sweater and to top it all off, a black lambskin belted jacket. Needless to say I thought she was dressed to kill.

There were times I did not know what I liked better, running my hands over the lambskin jeans or her cashmere sweater.

So guys if you had your choice, what would you like to see your date arrive dressed like.

Ladies, what do you feel comfortable with?

Actually, we do have to be careful as not to arouse suspicians. I certainly love to dress nice, but not where I go into a hotel and you know people are wondering is she a Pro? Conservative but sexy is my preference. :0)

Hey Val,

A couple of other questions if I might. I understand your need to not stick out like a sore thumb when walking through a lobby of a busy upscale hotel, but what if you are visiting somewhere else? And I undersstand your need to feel comfortable wearing a requested outfit. I can ask, but it's you that has to feel comfortable wearing it.

Say for instance you were to visit a guy at his apartment were there was no doorman? Or visitng a private residence? Would how you arrive dressed have anything to do whether the guy was a first time client or someone you have seen before? Would any of these circumstances have any bearing on whether you arrive dressed as requested?

In your opinion, is the outfit I described in my initial post of leather jeans, cashmere sweater and a leather jacket, conservative yet sexy?

Terri Brice shows up the way I like it....nicely dressed, fresh, minimal make up -- kinda like a college coed on a first date.

Well, the plan was to have some supper first, and her outfit was clearly a distraction for everybody in the restaurant. It's all about decision making abilities...

I was actually swapping emails with her right at the time she got them. We could not come to the meeting of the minds as to how, when, how much. We both felt that dropping it right then and putting some time between when we talked was a good idea.
