Considering RobInNY works in the place he reviewed, I'm not surprised by the great review. There is a proper way to advertise here:)

What makes you think I work in this place. Just because I happen to like this place, and I happen to think this place doesn't deserve the bad press that YOU are giving it. Lay off.

OK, Everyone, enough of this BS. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is tired of reading RobInNY trying to defend himself. Let's just agree that Rob should limit his reviews of the Ritz and everyone else takes what he writes with a grain of salt, not attacking him.
Rob, the bad press is called "opinion" and everyone is entitled to one; exchange of opinions is what this board (and democracy for that matter) is all about. You don't need to crusade for the place, just express your opinion (once is sufficient) that you don't agree with the reviews that others have posted, and give an honest review of your experience there.
If guys think that your review makes it sound worth while to try the place, they will. People vote with their wallet (Political Economy 101), and if they like the Ritz they will keep going, if not so be it, and the place goes out of business. That's how it works. It wouldn't be the first time, and it won't be the last.
Can't we all just get along?!?

I agree totally, I dont mind bad opinions of the place, after all , they are opinions, but Slinky Bender keeps making me and Ritz look bad, so it all started from there. I think SlinkyBender has to relax himself , and allow the free flow of opinions to circulate on this board.

The problem is when people who work for/at places masquerade as customers and don't inform the "unsuspecting public" of their affiliations when posting alledged "reviews".
If someone from Ford ( or their advertising agency, etc. ) came on a car board and gave a "review" of the "new Mustang" without disclsoing their relationship, and then poeple found out about that relationship, it wouldn't go over well there, either.
What it leads me to ask is "what is it that you have to hide". Coupled with the fact that I have in fact been to the Ritz, and my one experience there was "the Pitz", none of this leaves me with any good feelings whatsoever about the place.

And PS, we have a very welll stated rule against "Ad Posts". Rather than take out an ad, what we are seeing is someone trying to circumvent that rule by trying to fool the membership of this board into thinking that they are a paying customer, rather than being affiliated with the entity being advertised.

We had a girl named Tonya that worked for us. I got some phone calls from guys telling me that Tonya now works for them. I found it hard to belive beacuse she moved to pittsburg. I called Tonya to ask her and she was pissed that they whould put her on their website. Infact they cut the same pic off our website and put it on theirs.

I just spoke to a Kim ( the ritz phone girl ) on the phone. She said it was a mix up. She said that Ron ( guy that runs place ) got the wrong pic and that they have a girl named Tonya but that pic was not the tonya that they had. She said that Ron spoke to my Tonya and took her off the site.
How can that happen? What kind of bullshit story is that?
