woolf,
we have asked that the ladies don't place links inside their posts. Alexis has an ad in the clasified section, which has a link to her site.
Alexis,
thank you for your ad, and thank you for listening.
May I ask why the ban on links?

However, any post which ( in my sole judgement ) is made simply so that a link can be put up to someone's site, will be deleted.
I have a suggestion...
Rather than having the ladies post url's in the body of the post - how about letting them post a url to their ad in your classifieds ???
It would certainly cut down on redundency and make it easier for us to visit their site/ad...
Thanks (and, GREAT board) !!!
p.s. "we" miss u - call/write sometime .....

I just want to see TFH* delete my last post...
_________
*TM by P, used with permission I hope.
I think that not noting that a post has been edited is a really bad idea.
I edited this post at 12.30a

Your wish is my command ( hehehe ).
And besdies, it's not possible to "not not(e) that a post has been edited".......
As you can see.......
It wasn't putting in the "this message was edited" note earlier as I did edit my 12-16-2000 03:27 AM note

frog,
I had the board set at not displaying the "edited" message if the user edited their own post within 2 minutes of the post. I changed it to always show the message. I aim to please:)
damn, am glad someone else other than TFH* is running the show...
