i've inquired about, or been offered, a 3-some on a number of occasions. the ones who offer are offering to do it with a friend they're already compatible with. as performance art goes, i'm left wondering "what's my motivation?"

GC: you bring up two very interesting points.

1. By scripting for two women who "didn't know each other -- and at least one of whom had little or no prior experience with any woman," you address the issue that others had raised -- by allowing your bed to be occupied by two women who already have an attraction to (and prior experience with) each other, they might have little need for, nor interest in, your being there at all.

I agree. But if you are paying to watch, does that mean you are relegated to the status of "watcher not participant?" My original post had to do more with what other guys have found to be their experience when they are the center of attention -- i.e., I am paying two women to have them do me. This is entirely different from three people finding themselves in bed together (2GFE?) where any dyad is equally OK as any other.

Discount her fee? Probably not. If the provider is attractive, she most likely can walk into any bar, dance club or strip club and do the same all by herself.

Threesomes have positives and negatives, as this thread has already made obvious. My experiences have been decidedly mixed. My first was in college, where I was "realistically" trying to decide between two people, one of whom I hoped that I cared for a great deal. That experience devolved into a melodrama, so my recollection is clouded by emotional baggage.

The threesomes in Southeast Asia were carefree and hedonistic. Both women were fixated on me; what could be better? The sex was prolonged, exhausting, and it relieved all the stress associated with the combat to follow after my leave.

Related to the hobby in New York, the few times that I have been involved in a "double" have generally been disappointing. It is more act than real. Yet, on the other hand, I requested a double a number of years ago, combining a woman I had seen quite a few times with someone who walked by me when I entered the agency to see my "regular." I remember few details about the actual session. But I have seen the "new" member of that threesome since that day. I have actually posted my feelings about her elsewhere.
