Another establishment which I have been going to every once in awhile now is "Lace" in Wayne.
Since discovering the NJ 'massage' scene, I just about swore off of 'gogo bars' and 'strip clubs', but "Lace" is pretty enjoyable and doesn't really cost much.

I still don't understand "Lace", it always seems like there are a lot of girls there that are just hanging out, not dancing, not looking to give lap dances.(Maybe they are just waiting for the shift to change?)

One thing I like about "Lace" is the girls do not milk you for dollars when they are dancing. I like to 'tuck a buck' just as much as the next guy, but I have been in places where the girls will 'work the bar' and expect 3 or more tips from each guy. At "Lace", the girls only work the bar once per set, and a dollar is sufficient. Also, it's good they do this, so you can express your interest, (or disinterest) in getting a lap dance.

At "Lace" it seems like you need to sit there for awhile before you'll be asked about a lap dance. Again, this is good. I have been to other places where you're hit with "want a lap dance?" before you even get to order a drink.

As far as the lap dances go, the girls are very sexy about it. Some places, it seems as if they just go along the bar asking every guy "wanna dance?" At Lace, it seems like the girl singles you out, starts some small talk, and then suggests a dance. Makes ya feel special (although you know you're not!)

I think $10 a lap dance is extremely reasonable. What I usually do is pay 'upfront', I will hand the dancer either $40 or $60, before she starts, this way, she doesn't have to keep asking if you want her to keep going, and also, it's easier to budget your money this way. Also, at least as far as the girls who have danced with me, they don't seem to be 'clockwatchers'. I was enjoying a $60 'set', and it seemed to go on and on, and I started to become paranoid that she would demand another $60 or something. Of course, she didn't and a few songs later she said "this is the last song".

I would consider the lap dances to be excellent. There is a lot of mutual touching, and I have actually had a few dancers 'guide my hands' a bit (I always start off "hands off", I don't need a bouncer beating me up!)

Although I have never had a dance at Lace that ended in any sort of 'release', i,and I never attempted any 'under the bikini' touching, it's a great way to spend some time and not much cash. (it's not much, considering lots of guys spend hundreds at 'gentlemen's clubs' for less action)

I have spent literally hundreds and hundreds of hours in Lace over the last 4 years. I have written extensively about Lace here and on ***. I will try and net it out:

Prior to two years ago, the floorplan was completely different and the lap dances were very high-mileage. I have had complete satisfaction there at least 100 times. I am not exaggerating at all. If anything, that number is low. (My office was less than a mile away and I used to go there three or four times weekly on average)

When they changed the floor plan, eliminating the back room and most of the main stage, it made it much harder to receive good laps anymore. That and the cops turned up the heat and mgmt installed cameras everywhere.

So, I would sum up by saying that it is still a pleasant place to spend some time, but it is not in the same league as GGR, Hot22, Delilah's or Stilleto's (the best).

Maybe I'm depraved, but I do love to have a girl grind me to ecstacy in a dimly lit room with a party going on all around me. Yeah, baby.

I haven't been to GGR (Go-Go Rama) in many, many years, but itwas the first nudie bar I ever went to. Maybe that place warped my youthful, fragile mind. Back in the summer of '84 when I was only 19, i would spend my entire minimum-wage job paycheck in that place every friday night. (Anyone remember "Hotdog Shannon?")
Luckily, in a few years I turned 21 and was able to discover the pleasures of drinking heavily and trying to pick 40-year old+ divorcees at local 'meat markets'.

I guess the good-old-days weren't that good after all!

I live in the Old Bridge Area and I have been to GGR and D'sDen before and have had decent lap dances there, however I was un aware that other options are available? Where both lapdance areas are pretty tiny and not private at all? Any advice would be aprreciated.

liquid assests in s. plainfield now has lap dances that can be very good depending on the girl 20 per dance put they are longer then most places about 5 min. and it's a regular bar so in you buy the girl a few drinks first the better they get. girls ther are very freindly and preaty much lushes so if you go late in the evening they our already drunk.

I first saw Hot Dog Shannon at the Go-Go Rama back in about 1985, when I was a young and impressionable kid. She could take several uncooked hotdogs and deep-throat them simutaneously, sometimes making them independently move up and down, like the pistons in an engine - all without the use of her hands. She also was able to deep-throat the long, thin balloons (the kind clowns make balloon animals out of) The first time I saw her, she was lactating. She would lie on her back and literally 'spray' about 6 feet into the air. Quite a talented woman. She was no 'spring chicken',however even back in '85.

(Note, back then at the Go-Go Rama, many of the girls would do tricks (not THOSE kind of 'tricks'!). I remember, some girl would put a string of beads in her 'most intimate of areas', and would then drop the beads out one at a time.)


H.D.S. is pretty much a New Jersey legend. Most guys over 30 know who she is, or at least have heard of her. Funniest thing, one time I was hanging out at a bar (NOT a gogo bar, believe it or not) and some dude was sitting there with his wife, and she was yelling at him that he gave away his paycheck tipping "Hot Dog Shannon!"

Admittedly, back in '85, I probably spent a good portion of my minimum-wage job paycheck on her that first time I saw her! But what the heck, I still have some pretty good memories!

Naturally, after pouring out my guts on the New York board "happy marriage" thread, I needed some quick stimulation. Over to After Hours in Newark I go, and I got some decent grindage. Does anyone care to offer tips on how a guy could get extras at After Hours, or does one have to hope for ldtc (something I am not capable of, sorry to say; let me clarify, I've never been stimulated enough from an "ld" to "tc").

Hot dog shannon was always a fun show. she was also featured over the years on the howard stern show, along with the Kalbasi Queen (dont count on spelling) she does/did a show like HDS.
