New Jersey Cheap Thrills

If you are in the mood for some cheap thrills in the Newark area, i would suggest checking out a go-go bar called "After Dark". It is in an industrial area right off of Rt. 21 near the northern border of Newark.

I have been there about a dozen times over the last 3 years or so and it's an interesting place. There is a large stage and a bar on the opposite side of the room facing the opposite way.

The girls are certainly a 'mixed bag'. No one would mistake them for super-models, that's for sure. If you demand young, high-quality women, this isn't the place for you. The majority of the dancers are russian and hispanic. Some of the women appear to be in their 40's, and believe it or not, maybe older. Also, some of the women don't seem to have adopted the american tradition of bathing on a daily basis. One russian woman, who actually was quite attractive, had the distinct aroma of garbage.

The way this establishment works is, you take a seat at the bar. It's rare that there is even a dancer on stage. I have been there when there have been as few as 3 girls and as many as 8 girls.The girls will come up to you at the bar and rub you and touch you in every way imaginable as long as you hand them a dollar every couple of minutes. You can pretty much touch them in any manner you wish as well. They certainly know how what makes a man 'completely happy'. Usually, by just saying "Thank You", the girl knows to move on, although she might come back 10 minutes later. The first time I was there, I had a hispanic woman grinding her little ass into me. She turned around and said with a frown on her face, "you no c*m"? The idea of doing that while sitting at the bar didn't really occur to me, but a short time later, i obliged her.

Another time, a dancer told me to come back at 7pm for a BJ. Where this would take place, how much it would cost are unknown to me, I did not stick around.

Be forewarned, this establishment is in an extremely unsafe neighborhood. When you park your car, some local kids will ask to "watch your car". I suggest giving them at least a few bucks. I swear, one time when I was walking in, I heard gunshots nearby! I would also suggest going with someone willing to 'watch your back' (although I have never seen more than 10 guys in the place at one time, sometimes, it's only 2 or 3 other guys)

I am also sure a lot of drug use and drug dealing probably goes on in this place. There's not even a door on the men's room anymore. There are no provisions for lap dances or 'private' dances (I don't know why, if they did they would make a fortune)

While this place isn't for everyone, there are some "Cheap Thrills" to be had. I have spent less than $40 in that place, including drinks, and had a good time.

Good luck checking this place out, i'd be glad to act your 'tour guide', if you'll buy me a Bud.

There is no entry from rt21, heading north on 21 make a right onto 3rd ave, then a left at the bottom of the hill. After you go there for a couple of beers, check out the hookers on 3rd ave and broadway. Some young cuties, and others that would scare the piss off a donkey. Peace

I never do the street scene, but you best watch yourself around the After Dark area.

That is a rough area and for those inclined to look for street, there are some very middling ones in the area. Watch out for the occaisional cops and th street sweeps.

The Afterdark is pretty much as YC painted it. I've been going there for several years now, off and on.

The area is as bad as the Market St area in Paterson, though no worse. The junkie in the lot you tip a buck to knows all the neighborhood kids. His job is to report if anyone comes near the cars, not to stop them.

There is hardly ever a problem if you park your car in the adjacent lot or directly across the street in the well lit area. The local toughs know the place is connected and he who chases away paying customers by ripping off cars gets a beating as their reward.

Its not too far from Sites. The afterhour place for the brothers, and other players, who like to get their grove on with nekked wemins when the other bars have closed.

The stroll located up the hill, across the tracks, a few blocks away is incredibly dangerous. It has one of the highest HIV+ working girl ratios in the nation. The cops run stings there all the time and will impound your vehicle if you get busted. On top of that a lot of the junkie providers will vic their clients if they get the idea that you don't have your wits about you.

YC, if the dancer in question was serious she was talking about the day bouncer going home at 7pm and not being replaced. That happens sometimes when Mario goes home and no one comes in at 7pm. When they get the nerve to do onsite extras [and very few do] its usually in the unused back bar at the rear near the pool table. I've used it a couple of times. Like I said though... very rare. Its not Keystone in Bridgeport.

Newby to site but not to hobby here. I took a drive on a Sunday afternoon to Broadway & 3rd Ave. Saw nothing except one possible working girl, but I doubt she was really working. Lots of kids around, shoppers, etc. Does anyone know of better strolls for daytime into early evenings in the Newark/Elizabeth/Linden area?

Word has it (actually, a post on www.*************.com has it) that After Hours was raided by LE recently, and as a result things are a bit tame. Just wanted to give y'all the heads up.
