FYI fellow hobbyists, please find below the template that I mentioned I would submit in another thread. Please post any ideas for information that I have missed. Perhaps we can agree on a format for reviews, should help us resolve many of the debates we have about review content and semantics. (i.e. what is GFE?)

Thanks for your input.

I would add interview process (what info does the provider require)

GFE to me is all about chemistry and is usually YMMV for many, many reasons.

JC - Thanks so much for your many ideas. I have incorporated several and tried to allocate some into already existing fields in the sake of keeping the template usably concise.

I also decided to leave out the reviewer's information fields since I really dont think that they would be filled out in the interest of anonimity.

Lets see if this template has left anything major out.

NJ:

Appreciate your good efforts. However, it is precisely because most johns are "narratively challenged," essentially tongue-tied*, and unable to provide a useful, informative account of what actually transpired that I offered my proposed additions. Something along the lines suggested, I believe, would force reviewers to be forthcoming and descriptive - to the benefit of other johns.

Reviewer fields along with the other suggested fields tell us what kind of man the other john is, what powers of observation he has, etc. I, for one, would certainly be more interested in seeing a woman that had been well reviewed by someone who was educated, whose powers of observation and irony were clearly documented and who had long experience in buying commercial sex. Really don't see being anonymous as being a problem. A woman who is in the business of selling sexual services has no right to complain or castigate anyone for commenting on how well she does what she does for a living compared to other women.

Comments sections in reviews are usually either: (1) used to restate information that appears elsewhere in shorthand; or, (2) left blank. Which is why I stopped subscribing to JAG. Only a small handful of reviewers ever wrote anything that was useful. That's why I would propose more required fields with information that must be entered.

* Hence, the useless term "GFE."

Well said, JC.

I just dont want to pass the point where submitting a review becomes tiresome chore. Perhaps I am overestimating the literary skills of the average john, though I am not certain that the average john would even post a review nor would I want to read it.

I think it is very important for the review to contain a decent amount of essay style observational verbage for jus that reason. It allows you to evaluate the attitude, demeanor and intelligence of the author to a small degree. Too many multiple choice and/or boolean answers may take away from that.

I only want to require the essentials in my review. I will, however, review your proposed changes again to see if I was to stingy with the changes.

At any rate, people are going to take what they want from this and throw away the rest. I think I will submit a review on monday using this template to see how it is accepted. It gives me a reason to visit an incall joint today 8P

Thanks again for all your input,
Phil

Think the hardest part of writing good useable reviews and what is almost impossible to expect from other ohns is self-awareness. A certain honesty about your own peculiarity that accurately describes the lens through which a man beholds a woman in a commercial encounter. Passing observation.
