It's not really spin, the combined HSIS & BDP "A" list numbers well over 100 dancers. So far, they're the only ones who've been told about the spot. We'll have to see who actually shows.

Just back after checking things out on opening night. I got there very early...right at 6...and a few ladies were already there. BY the time I left at 9 things were really starting to get going. A very nice array of ladies were available...Asian,white, WOC, latino...and one in a category all to herself: Veronica. In other threads related to Studio 5 you will find a description and review. Definitely agree - the new spot is sweet. New and clean, and they spent some cash making the place look nice. Tasteful music and a bar that's a huge improvement over the one in the last spot. Very comfortable, and I can assure all ages and races will feel welcome and relaxed.
As for the ladies, what they might have lacked in sheer numbers, they made up for in variety. Something for all tastes. Had 2 very hot LD's w/Nana, one of the 3 Japanese girls. Well I attended Da Sweet Spot grand opening and the place is great. It blows away the first location. I arrived after 10PM and Ray and a few of the Asscon guys were there as well as aout 12 girls. There were black ones and white ones and Spanish ones and Japenese ones. Something for everyone. I got a dance from H one of the Japanese girls and it was very very good. There are 2 VIP sections and a bar area. I spent time with Sherry, the Irish girl as well. The place has the same feel as the old F Stop did. Its a nice addition to the Underworld

As the former owner of F/STOP, I think I can safely say that I know something good when I see it! DSS is a fantastic blend of a small ASSCON party, and the intimate quality of the old F/STOP... exept they did it BETTER than I did! I give great kudo's to HSIS and the BDP camp for coming up with the business plan and the physical design. First off it's really comfortable, great lighting and decore and a really on the ball staff who know their customer base VERY well, and treat them accordingly! Last nights selection of girls was small (12-15) but all were friendly and pleasant on the eyes, all in all I had a great time.

I went by tonight - Saturday - spent some three hours there and more money than I should have. Its a nice layout - fairly mellow in mood for the most part. There were not a whole lot of girls for most of the time I was there - perhaps 8 or so - but then another 5-6 showed up after 10. Two of the Japanese ninjitas were there using their special LD powers to keep me happy and then they went for the crippling blow with a mouth hand combination - one adept with her oral skills, the other transmitting her energy through her hands to finish me for good. Swung by Saturday ... got there before 7. Just a couple of girls there - Sherry and Veronica as well as the cute, cute barmaid. Also there was a familiar face from F/STOP so I felt comfortable immeditaley.

Of course, we went to the VIP room - not as private as F/STOP but the couches were set far enough apart that I didnt have that crowded feeling at ASS Con. Veronica was wonderful. I find her very pretty with her short dark hair and dark bedroom eyes. And besides her mouth, she used her eyes which was quite a turn on for me. I've never been to AssCon or DSS, but looking to participate REAL soon... what I want to know is that is if the VIP is shared with approximately how many other participants? Also, just wanna clarify this...it's $30 to just get into the place and another $30 to get into the VIP room and whatever you negotiate with the girls (probably in the range of $30-100)? The cost really depends on how disciplined you are - at DSS the cost was $30 entrance fee, $20 for a one time entry into VIP and then the activity within will run you from about $40 to $100 depending on what you want and what you are willing to do in public! If you can come in and do just that you are a better man than me. The trouble is that sort of defeats the purpose of going to an UG club where you want to hang out for a while and this almost always leads to an assorted selection of drinks and Lds that add to the final bill.

The other night I ended up spending $240 in all - $30 entrance, $30 multiple VIP option, $60 for 6 LDs, $60 for 1 type of activity, $40 for activity 2 and $20 for drinks. Not a huge amount for 3 hours of fun but not something I can do all that often or once I lose my job!

From a financial point of view the UG don't really make a lot of sense when compared to an incall service. In a UG place you end up paying the same amount or more when you throw in the overhead stuff - to have sex in a fairly public format and it tends to be much more rushed than it would be in an incall/outcall situation - it seems fairly rare that a specific activity goes longer than 20 minutes or so as compared to an hour. So what keeps bringing people back? I think it is the anticipation of not knowing what awaits you each time - what women will be present - maybe someone who really turns you on, maybe nothing that turns you on, what will she be willing to do and so on. Each time you walk into a UG club there is a little head rush of expectation - sometimes met, sometimes not - while an incall/outcall experience tends to be much more structured, safe and predictable imo.

Your reply seems contradictory to me when you say that from a financial point of view, the UG spots don't really make a lot of sense when compared to an incall. You stated that you spent $240 in THREE HOURS. That would cost you $450-$600 at most incall spots in this city. I'll agree for that differential, you give up a significant amount of privacy, but you negletected to mention, or were unaware, that complete privacy was available for an additional $20 on top of the regular VIP price. In addition, if each act took 20 minutes AND you had 6 laps, at a ug average of 10 mins each and often MUCH LONGER, for that $240, you got the equivalent of a session actively lasting over an hour and a half.

You also left out that you probably went through 3 or 4 different women out of a possible 12-15 during your VIP and lap dance sessions. There's no way you could do that at an incall for $240 (except maybe a spanish quickie joint). Most incall places rarely have more than a handful of women to choose from. At the larger ug events you might be able to choose from 30, 50 or even close to 100 different women.

The interaction is also VERY different than that of an incall because of the club atmosphere. At an ug spot, you have a chance to hang out with and feel out a dancer prior to engaging her services, often getting some sample mileage at little or no cost. It gives you a chance to asses her personality in addition to her body type. If you don't click, you can move on to the next one. You can also have lots of fun without ever consumating an act at all if you don't want to spend the money at the time.

Personally, I find the incall / outcall experience to be completely predictable almost to the point of being scripted. I very much prefer the unpredictable and often edgy nature of the ug experience.

Entry fee is $30 ($20 if you bring the grand opening coupon). You can also pay $20 for a membership card (they are supposed to be introducing members only nights, specials, etc.). I am not sure, but I think the membership also locks in the entry fee at $20.

The semi-private VIP costs $20, $30 will get you an unlimited wrist-band. The semi-private VIP has 4 leather couches in there, so pretty much it can only support four couples at a time. There is also a private VIP (I think it costs $30) which is basically a curtained off area in the lap dance room with one couch.

The bar area is more brightly lit (but still dim with mood lighting) and it is separated from the lap dance area. Some guys hang in the bar area, some guys hand in the lap dance area. I have noticed that some of the girls will basically work the lap dance area only, and if there are no takers, then they head towards the bar area.

I never made it to the old location, but from the comments I have heard, the new location is much better. I found that it is quite comfortable, although it realistically probably won't be able to support a huge crowd.

Only problem it seems between a incall or a UG party is that the the girl probably been with 20 guys before you as to a incall service the girl might have only seen 3-4 the whole day. I think you are confusing the regular entrance fee with the fee for the semi-private VIP area. There is the $20 entrance fee to get into the place, and then you can get all the lap dances you want without paying anything more (except for paying the girl for the dance itself). If you want to go VIP, then you pay extra (in addition to paying the girl).

BTW, if you go to some strip clubs, you have to pay a $10 or $20 entrance fee into the place anyway, and there is no guarantees of mileage.......at DSS, high mileage is a given.

Basically, the people who run the place make their money from the entrance fee(s) (oh, and the drinks) since whatever you pay the girl is what they make (the girls do not split the money with the "house").

About your question about the semi-private VIP, the couches are arranged on three walls (one couch each on opposite walls, two couches along the wall in the center). and how much would a CBJ cost you in a strip joint? mp? how much you spend really comes down to how you "work it". you do negotiate directly with the girl for pricing. Don't misunderstand me, I agree with most of what you say - I too prefer the unpredictability/social interaction of the UG experience - and felt my $240 outlay was well worth the fun I had - but at the same time I think there is a myth that UG's are a cheap alternative for sex - but once you talley up all the add ons its not really any cheaper than going to an incall place - the payouts just come at various touch points as opposed to one.

Sure I was there for 3 hours but of that time only perhaps 70 minutes of it was in contact with the female form - the other time was spent simply hanging around. So all I trying to point out was that if you are on a limited budget and the sex act is your main interest - then going to a place like Julie's (from what I have read) may be a better and cheaper option - with a little research you can find someone who is willing to give you what you want for 60 minutes - while at a UG for the same approx. amount of money you will be lucky to get the same for 30 minutes - and at a location like AssCon that is with zero privacy and quite possibly with a woman who finished up with someone 10 minutes before you and didn't bother to clean up.

Where the UG begins to make financial sense is if you are able to do multiple sessions during an evening because then the overhead charges are allocated over those sessions. The $20 membership gets you a discounted entry fee of $20 each time you go, versus $30 for non-members. So the membership doesn't mean you get to forgo the entry fee for further visits. I was also told that later on, they will have members only nights and specials (i.e. the 1/2 price beer for members).

I made my first trip to DSS on Friday. I have to say this place has raised the bar for these types of establishments. It costs a little more, but you get a lot more.

The club personnel are very professional and have a more sophisticated sense of customer service. The place is nicely decorated. The bathrooms are clean. And a staff member is always walking around straightening things, emptying ashtreys, etc.

A few months ago, I made a comment on this board about how dirty the bathroom was getting at S5. I got a comment or two from folks like "who cares how clean the bathroom is, as long as the girls are hot and doing a good job." Having a mind for business, I know how short sighted this outlook is. Big D and Valjean are really getting this right. I've been by now a few times since opening night and the attention to comfort is just as high now as on the first night. The bar is just great. The VIP room remains clean and a great place for the service you expect. Now, some great entertainment. I missed Thursday's Naked Twister, but Friday's "69" show was a good first effort. I think it's 20 to get into the VIP room and then you negotiate from there. but you have to be a member or some shit like that, so the first time you go you have to empty your wallet at the front door. I forget how much it is to become a member.

There are two VIP Rooms. There's the semi-private VIP Room (more than one customer in there at a time) and the private VIP Room (only one customer in there at a time). The semi-private VIP is $20 and the private is $40.

I think membership is $20. It's not mandatory. It's also not clear (at least to me) what it gets you.

I'm not trying to bust chops. You point is well made. However:

My point is that you have a lot of pictures that are not representative of the girls at DSS. There is no one that closely resembles the blond you have posted. And the women who actually do the lesbian show, look nothing like the pictures of the women you have posted. You show real pictures and models in the ads, and don't distinguish between the two. From my point of view, the ads and pictures generally create different expectations than what you are actually going to experience when you go to DSS. I understand you are advertising, and trying to promote your business. I am just suggesting you either use more accurate pictures, and/or include a disclaimer line when you use pictures of models.

I am a member of DSS. I attend DSS on a regular basis. I think it is a wonderful place. You guys are professional. Your customer service is excellent. And you have really raised the bar for theset types of establishments. I am trying to give constructive criticism that I believe will help DSS grow as a business, by building even greater credibility with your customer base. Just some food for thought.
