Just discovered this site today. Hope this is helpful.
Last night a buddy and I went to Queens to check out a few clubs - the idea was to go to Goldfingers. Had some problems getting their and as we were driving we passed a place located on Queens Blvd not too far from the BQE. Had the look of a strip club so stopped and checked it out. Place had about 7 girls working with another 7 guys hanging out. Girls dance in the center of a circular bar and are happy with $2 tips now and then. The real action is in the private dances. $20 to the house to go upstairs to a private room. Once upstairs it's negotiated with the dancer for her fee. I had $40 hj and my buddy $40 bj. Only problem is you only have about 5 minutes to close the deal. I didn't know that and didn't concentrate like I should have. All in all a pleasant suprise - didn't know these places existed.
Next stop was a place called Foxes in LI City. Typical small bar - 6 fair girls working - $6 drinks - and no contact $20 dances.
What can anybody tell me about Dumbartons (Spelling???) or any other places like I described above.
click on the search button (upper left corner) and you can find something like this:

I'm pretty familiar with clubs on all levels in western Qns., especially along the Blvd., but the place refered to in the first part of your post is a mystery to me. Do you remember the name of the place, or a more specific location. I haven't heard of a place like this in Qns. since Pennywhistle closed. This would ge an amazing find in this Rudy era. Please provide more info. Thx.

The name of the place was Nickels - I think at the corner of Queens Blvd and 72.
Please give your opinion on the other good clubs in the area. I think that they said the place was under the same ownership as Dumbartons.

While not strictly forbidden, I really don't want this to become a site where all the posts are:
"Hi, I have some info which I won't post here. Email me with some of your info and I'll give it to you".

Going off subject - I'm new to the hobby/board and can't figure out what the hell DATY stands for. (I get the general concept but what are the actual initials for?) Thanks.
By the way - going to check out a few more clubs this week - I'll report back.

Cityscapes is right next to the Queensboro Plaza subway stop. Opens at 4 pm, happy hour (no cover) from 4 to 7. I was there once around 5 PM. Place was pretty dead, but the few dancers there were decent-looking (5s to 7s) and, my luck, it was early enough that no bouncers were patroling the lap dance area to enforce the usual no-touching rules. Dances are $20--if you sit at the bar, dancers are on a stage behind the bar for about 3 songs and then come around for tips.
Enjoy it--not the best neighborhood or the most exciting venue, but by far the best experience I've had in NY since Giuliani took office.

Slinky,
in liu of what happened with episodes, i felt it was inappropriate to bring underground spots to the population - at - large. Surely if you look back in history I always contribute information freely on this board as well as others. And I will continue to do so for places that are not restricted or secretive.
Second, I didnt say mail me the info first. I am willing to trust the honorable members of this board on their word, if they say they know something good, and send info first (as i had many times before)
If you still have a problem with my post, or wish that I use different wording, please lmk.

I'm an infrequent visitor to the NYC area (about once a month) and know nothing about Queens geography--so here goes:
The club Scandals is supposed to be near CityScapes--I walked around the area and didn't notice it (but wasn't
looking too hard)--can anyone tell me which direction I should have walked? I did pass DUMBartons II. More important, what's the action like at Scandals--is it a Scores lookalike?
Have heard some reasonable reviews of Runway 69--is it walking distance from Queensboro Plaza? Or is there another subway stop close by?
Thanks in advance.

Scandals is on the left as you enter Queens via the lower level. The 6 foot high letters are hard to miss. Runway 69 is a 5 minute drive further up Queens Blvd. on the right. Low key, but still hard to miss.

Visited last week for the first time.....Seems like the day shift has only college age girls, although I saw a Candlewood fugee there: short, long black hair, light skin, fake boobs,
tooth gap. Used to work at Fiddle and Bow. Definitely, over 22, probably over 30. I had some great LD's with a nice beautiful gringa. The only bad thing about the day shift is the incessant dollar parade. Even with the parade the day shift is better than nightshift - $10 cover, coat check tip for coat check girl and .......Semi-attractive Russians. The CR cost $150.00 (day) and $160.00(night) plus tip.

Latimer - The ex-wood girl sounds like Lana. She is not bad for age, and considering she has two teenage sons. Although the boobs look fake, they fit her little body nice. I always wanted to fuck her, but she never warmed up to me, no matter how hard I tryed.

This thread hadn't been active in almost 7 years, that has to be some kind of UG record!

Good call Eddy I almost didn't notice. But remember UG was under a year old when Un4 made that post and the rules were still being formulated. Posters exchanges ***** addys all the time back when the board started but as time went on and it started to get huge I know there was a concern about too much back channeling going on.

Now if we can get some good left wing candidates in public office, perhaps the tide will turn, and the NYC adult scene will return to its full glory!

dream on pal....although, it would be great. i could save a lot of money on gas.
but it seems to me when things are taken away, they never come back. does anyone have an example of a civil liberty actually being returned...other than prohibition?

Ilda's place is one of the clubs that turned into crap during the Giuliani administration. I went there yesterday, and it doesn't seem to have recovered yet.
After driving on Junction Blvd thru some of the worst Queens slums (Elmhurst, Corona and JH) I made a left on Roosevelt Avenue. What a dump! I drove by Tulcingo(ficha bar), Chila City (ficha bar) until I got to Baxter next to the hospital.
Once inside, I noticed that most of the girls there were not higher than a 5, even the Brazilians. In its current state, this place is not recommend. The girls there will nickel-and-dime you to death. The dollar parade was incessant. The stage is behind the bar, so, I ordered a Corona and took a seat. A few minutes later, I found one of the girls from Sweet Cherry. Since I was getting tired of tipping the girls, I asked her to sit with me at one of the tables. Little did I know that when the girls exit the stage, they go to every fucking table to get tips. I was so annoyed by this that I left.

Worst slums in Queens? You obviously haven't driven through Far Rockaway, Hollis, South Jamaica/Jamaica and Ozone Park...

Heh, Corona, Elmhurst and Jackson Heights are slums? Thats news to me. Like Gavvy said try going to Hollis or Ozone Park.

Disagree with the slum comment but do agree with the subpar girls at Ildas... It might depend on the night... I've passed by there on some days when girls are just arriving... and I've seen some hotties being dropped off or getting off the train and walking over there to start their shift.
