Man what a cluster fuck. They have this effect with horizontal lines that makes every page incredibly slow to load. Messy, cluttered format. As far as I'm concerned it sucks.
Has anybody seen the paid board? I'm not planning to send *** any money.
Maybe we at UG should buy a collective membership and publish the password here so we can all see what we're missing.

Hey FF- having same difficulty where my computer locks up when the page is loading- I thought it was me. looks like alot of people are turned off by their new paid membership! Cluster Fuck- have not heard that term used since the Movie Heartbreak Ridge!!

I had no problem with pages loading, but all that advertising made me feel claustrophobic! I support ff's idea about buying one membership. We could all post under the same handle! How would that be for a clusterfuck?

Could just claim that it's one person posting who has multiple personalities.

But the new *** format is too much for me to deal with. I'm leaving it altogether. I may go back if I'm in the mood to click a myriad of buttons just to get what I used to get with typing *********.net/newyork in my url window in the past.

It looks like one of those optical illusion puzzles. The color combo is really hurtfull on the eyes. and it takes forever to get to the message board.
Changes do not always make better.

Mercydancer is right!
The new sight is hard to use, uninspired and cluttered with advertising. The frames take up too much room on the screen and I can't see any real Value-added for paying for a membership.

If my memory serves me once before *** tried to create a private, pay for, membership site. Members fees were paid, but low and behold the site never went on line. Wonder if the fees were ever returned?

On another note, I wonder if *** hired a *former* provider to be his web designer?

The new format sucks ass for one major reason. You definitely can't check it at work. I used to scroll down past the adds, and the rest were just messages. Unlike utopia (which is so discreet it looks academic) these dummies have made it where you are definitely looking at PORN. Of course, the thing they check for most in the random installation checks that they do (remotely, I might add) are JPEGs, GIFs, etc. And you can't scroll away from it, there is no harmless area. I hate feeling furtive at work, and I imagine anyone else who is in my situation would as well. I know I haven't even looked at *** since that once. Good luck, you'll need it.

There is a way to just have the messages fill your screen. I use Netscape Communicator 4.7 as my browser. If you open a message in a new window you will notice that the word "forum" will appear in a colored bar along the top of the screen, left click on "forum" and it will take you back to the message board without any ads or graphics on your screen.

Looks like all the regulars are here at UG now. I don't like all the ads while reading the posts, either.

The new *** format is just too busy with advertisements. I just get dizzy trying to follow a thread. Besides, i knew of a person who got flamed and no one came to her rescue. I feel more comfortable here. I hope that you'll welcome my postings.

Anyone up for buying a collective membership to TER (www.theeroticreview.com). I would really like to read more in-depth reviews of providers but don't really want to spend the money (as always!!).
If you are interested, let me know!

Unless things have changed, the membership to TER costs a review- at least thats how I got mine.

I've submitted two but am still awaiting their approval and they are old so I don't know if they will be approved. I guess I just wanted instant access to the full reviews.

I don't think you get "full access" with just one review, do you ?

Two to start, then one every time you need the access. They're pretty quick with updating your profile to "VIP" (usually next day).
A-Reports seems to be coming on strong and seems to be better than TER right now. You also get more for your free membership (rates) vs TER (no rates). Neither gives you any real details without premium membership.

Unless there is something beyond "VIP", all it took was one review. I havent submitted one since and I seem to have access.

So, you submitted one review, and you got VIP access permanently ? Wow, things have changed over there ( I really don't look all that often ). Didn't it used to be that you had to submit like 12 reviews a year to get freee VIP membership ? I think it even still says that you need at least 2 reviews to start. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm......

someone fucked up over there and your account seems to be stuck in VIP mode. two reviews to start with and then one new one every 20 days (i think) is what they request to stay in good (VIP) standing. they aren't that on the ball over there.

I guess...
Also, they never even published the one review I sent them!

I sent TER a bunch of reviews and they gave me a VIP Membership. I sent them every review I posted here on UG, which is alot, and they said they weren't graphic enough and let my membership run out. I'm not putting anymore reviews up over there anymore.
